History
Johnna always had a passion for food and nutrition, dating back to her childhood years experimenting in the kitchen. As a young adult she spent 3 years traveling in southeast Asia learning about the varied cuisines and delicious flavors of each region. Upon returning, she worked in the natural health food industry in San Francisco for 4+ years learning about alternative nutrition. After considering culinary school, she pursued a master's degree in nutrition from Bastyr University, a leading accredited naturopathic medical school in Washington. During this time she received her license for massage therapy from Brenneke (now Cortiva) and studied cranio-sacral therapy (CST). In 2009 she became a certified yoga instructor through the 200-hr program at NW Yoga. Her experience combining all 3 modalities of nutrition, massage/CST & yoga, has given her a unique approach toward effectively healing hundreds of clients using practical tools while integrating the mind-body connection.
