HistoryOur studio was the first pilates studio in Westlake Village. A group of 5 highly experienced and motivated individuals felt it was the right time and location to introduce pilates to the Westlake Village area. We created a unique atmosphere of comfort within a highly stylized studio, with long business hours. This was very different than the typical pilates work-out studio. We were the first studio in the entire So. Cal. area to introduce supervised and choreographed reformer group classes. We are very proud of this. Prior to our creation, group classes at other pilates studios consisted of 6-8 clients doing their own workout, within specific hour. Because of our expert reputation, we were sanctioned by an international teacher training organization, to teach and certify other instructors. There are only 3 studios in So. Cal. who hold this honor. In 2005 we added the Gyrotonic Method.
