Completely remodeled inside and out, Westlake IGA opened its doors in January, 2010. It includes a sushi chef and deli employees who, in addition to whipping up complete meals, prepare roasted Rocky chickens and create salads with local produce in season. Among other deli offerings are fresh fish, sandwiches and a vast array of cheeses.
On the retail floor there is some organic produce available, a selection of beers including local microbrews and a variety of bulk items in addition to the usual grocery fare.
Deals include doubling of manufacturers coupons, weekly sales specials and UC Davis student 5 percent discounts.
