Across the street from the Burlingame Hyatt and right off of Highway 101, the recently renovated Max's is part of a local chain known for its attentive and friendly service, large menu and amazing desserts. The menu is eight pages long, and includes everything from tuna melts and burgers to grilled chicken and pasta dishes. Happy hour is from 3pm to 7pm daily, and on occassion the bar turns into a piano bar with live music. On weekends Max's offers a breakfast menu that's as much fun as the lunch and dinner menu.
