History
Waldron Landscape, Inc., was founded in Sonoma Valley in 1974 by Dave Waldron. The company began with landscape cleanup and expanded into tree trimming and regular maintenance. Dave became a landscape contractor in 1977 and after a few years experience in that field, he spent a couple years in the UC Berkeley Landscape Architecture Extension Program. He then passed the state test to become a landscape architect in 1985. The photo at left shows Dan Waldron installing a landscape for Adele Deuchen & Mitzi Mishler of Bear Flag Realty in the mid seventies. If you'd like to see one of our first installation efforts, you'll have to talk to Gary Scott at 515 First Street East, since his Edward Jones office sits above the once prominent landscape which bordered a small creek, now a pipe under Gary's office and the Sonoma Court Shops. The photo appears cloudy, but that's actually snow falling. Maybe there really is something to global warming....
