Visalia Adult School is an educational institution that is fully accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges. It provides adult education programs throughout the Visalia area as part of the Visalia Unified School District. The school offers vocational training courses for entry-level jobs in auto body repair, welding, cosmetology, vocational nursing and certified nurse aide and also provides adult basic education and high school diploma classes. It also offers various programs that include computer business education, career technical education, older adult program, and literacy and medical program. It has a career center that provides a complete assistance to students with interest and aptitude testing, career assessment, vocational testing, job placement and resume writing, as well as typing tests. Visalia Adult School was established in 1947 and is located in Visalia, Calif.
