Vintage Magnet provides education to more than 600 students in grades one through five. Its facilities include science and computer laboratories, a playground, cafeteria and library. The school s classrooms and library are equipped with multimedia computers and connected through a fiber-optic data network. Vintage Magnet provides lessons to students in the use of computers and various educational applications, such as word processing, keyboarding, desktop publishing, and slide show and multimedia presentations. The school has a parent-teacher association that organizes various fundraising programs. Founded in 1955, the school is a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District.
