Victory Outreach is a large Christian church on the corner of Eagle Rock Boulevard and Avenue 42. It is jointly pastored by a husband and wife team that grew up in the area. The church is very involved with the community, for example, offering 12-step programs, and has long-standing international mission trips to places such as Nigeria. There are also many different youth programs, including a gang outreach program, and Bible studies that occur regularly throughout the week. It is also very technologically oriented. Congregants can follow the church on both Facebook and Twitter, and sermons are streamed live on the Internet. There are two services on Sunday, at 9am and 11am.
