History
Amid the global shutdown of the performing arts due to the emergence of the deadly coronavirus- Founder, Kasey Viani, began her work building a performing arts academy to service the needs of the performing arts community. Where studios were going out of business and stages were shut down, Kasey Viani wanted to provide a way to continue training for students who no longer had a place to grow their talents. Not only did VPAA thrive during the shut down of 2020 but student numbers grew. Now Viani's Performing Arts Academy provides summer camps to continue fostering our communities love of the performing arts. VPAA also found itself newly in the film industry due to having to adapt to a time where there were no stages or theaters open to demonstrate the learning of the students. VPAA has now a very special feature of film production where a story is developed from a specific dance piece and is developed into a short film for film festival entries.
