History
The post was established on Aug 11, 1917 as a result of the needs of veterans of the Spanish-American War in 1898 and the Philippine Insurrection (1899-1902). The VFW and American Legion moved into the Stockton Memorial Civic Auditorium in 1925. The auditorium was constructed to honor the veterans of World War I. The luneta post 52 has been in continual existence since 1917.

VFW Luneta Post 52 has a bar (canteen), veterans lounge with wi-fi and meeting spaces with kitchen. We are here to provide camaraderie, support and services to veterans. We are open every day. We exist to serve veterans and active-duty military. This is a membership club. The VFW Auxiliary and VFW Motorcycle Group support the post and veterans through activities and fundraisers. If you are a veteran, please come visit us. Talk to the bartender or if a post officer is present, talk to the officer about membership and what our organization does for veterans.
