History
The Ventura County Bar Association has been serving Ventura County Attorneys for over 90 years. The Ventura County Bar Association (VCBA) was established in 1929 and incorporated in 1968 as a California non-profit 501(c)(6) Mutual Benefit Corporation. Currently, the VCBA has 1000 members and 24 sections, committees, and affiliates. The VCBA is governed by a 22 member board of directors and operated by a devoted staff of 3 professionals.

VCBA is a non profit organization serving Ventura County. VCBA provides continuing legal education courses to its members as an approved provider authorized by the State Bar of California. VCBA continues to serve its members by providing business-building practices, valuable continuing education programs, and networking opportunities. VCBA also offers community programs such as: * Attorney-Client Fee Dispute (Fee Arbitration) CA State Bar Approved * Court Tour Program for middle school and high school students * Lawyer Referral & Information Service ABA Approved, State Bar Certification #0059 * VCBA supports the county Mock Trials Competition
