Upward Bound House is an emergency housing shelter for families with minor children who are in crisis. The program includes case management, a food program, counseling and other services. The 18-unit facility includes housing for some staff as well, so on-site assistance is always available.
Upward Bound House is located on Washington Boulevard, just west of the merge with Washington Place. It can be found on the north side of the street in what was previously the Sun Bay Motel.
