History
I arrived in San Francisco to teach yoga in the Fall of 2012.
Specialties
I began practicing yoga in 2003 as a way to relieve pain and tension in my body from years of board sports injuries. My partner at the time begged me to come to yoga class for over 3 years before I finally went. After that first yoga class, I realized I had finally found what I had been looking for all along. I began a consistent yoga practice. What unfolded during that process became something much deeper, and redefined my life, in every possible way. Since then, I have dedicated myself to the deeper understandings of yoga; through practice, study and teaching. The classes I teach are Bhakti Flow, Vinyasa based, focused on breath, and movement. Each class ranges from mild to vigorous, the choice is always yours. Teaching yoga was a natural transition for me to share the practice of yoga with others. I truly believe that there is a place for yoga in everyone's life, regardless your of age, size, strength, flexibility or beliefs. My philosophy is simple; show up. Not just on the mat, but in life. Be present, be humble, practice yoga, honor yourself, and see what unfolds. My greatest teachers are the students that dedicate themselves to the practice of yoga and are open to the process. I am always truly humbled by the individuals that climb onto the mat and open themselves to anything. It is a constant reminder that we are all students in this life, together.
