Tidelands Park is a large family-friendly park located just north of the Coronado Bridge, off Glorietta Boulevard. Amenities include: a world-class skate park, a playground, a fitness course, baseball and soccer fields, picnic tables and restrooms. There is a small sandy beach where visitors can splash in the San Diego Bay and boat users can park their dinghies. There is also a bike path that goes under the Coronado Bridge and extends toward the Marriott Hotel. Dogs must be on a leash and are only allowed on the paved area. This is the only park in the city that is owned and operated by the San Diego Port District.
