The Wesley School is a nonprofit independent day school for grades kindergarten through eighth grade. Its objectives in academics are to reach specific cognitive and developmental goals. The Wesley School holds no religious affiliation and considers its body and the church as separate entities. Three times a week the school meets in the sanctuary for chapel. It is used for each class to present a topic of value such as kindness, honesty and thankfulness. It is also used to hold special programs of interest.
Extracurricular options include chess club, painting, drawing and karate. There is a daycare/study hall program and a camp during summer and winter breaks. Students may enjoy small class sizes with dedicated teachers.
Admission to the school is grade specific and contingent on testing results, but generally applicants will need to complete an application and submit tuition and fees. There is financial aid available for those who qualify. Parents are encouraged to visit an open house for further consideration.
