Ever since I can remember Monta has been a part of our family menu. Recipes passed down and tweaked from generation to generation which is why we always thought our grandmothers Monta was always the best. Just as our ancestors we pride ourselves in making everything from scratch and by hand. You heard right no machines, every tray of Monta is made by hand with love and care! We are proud to say that we have perfected the art of making Monta for over 20 years and are extremely excited to share it with everyone. The Su-Beoreg and Monta Factory nestled in the heart of North Pasadena has swung its doors open, turned the ovens on full blast and is ready to start dishing out grandma's famous dish. So grab the entire family and come on down to enjoy a wonderful platter of Monta with a side of our savory Su-Beoreg!
Specialties
The Su Beoreg and Monta Factory specialize's in two traditional Middle Eastern dishes. The first one is called Sini-Monta which is a beef dish. Small squares of dough are pinched on both sides with ground beef in each piece of dough. Lined up in a tray, popped in the oven, cooked to a crisp then topped off in one of our four succulent sauces. The second one is called Sue-Beoreg which is a cheese dish. We also have two traditional soups that we serve. An Authentic Tomatoe Basil Herb Soup which comes with monta inside. An Authentic Yogurt Cream Soup also served with monta!
