History
Since opening its doors June 2, 2012, The Living Room Project has become an important and valued resource for queer and trans, black and brown communities in Oakland, and beyond. In addition to offering sliding-scale healing & wellness services, the LRP continues to provide a much needed home for community events, workshops/classes, meetings & rehearsals, artist showcases, film screenings, live music performances, and more. Reaching over 1,300 people in it's first year!
Specialties
Through resource sharing, and collaborative efforts, the Living Room Project 510 (LRP) provides opportunities for creative expression, collective healing, and community building. Ultimately the LRP hopes to inspire deeper relationship, interdependence, and care amongst QTPOC communities.
