The Culver Studios, which is the place where Gone With the Wind was filmed, is an independent production facility in southern California. Since 1918, the company has been serving this industry through its support of feature films, single-camera and multicamera television, commercials, music videos, rehearsals and special events. The Culver Studios houses 13 sound stages, a New York Street location, a historic mansion studio, production offices, bungalows and a wide range of support services. The Culver Studios have also been the site of other acclaimed films, such as Raging Bull, ET, The American President, Armageddon, Contact, The Red Corner, The Story of Us, Wag the Dog, What Women Want, Galaxy Quest, City of Angels, and Stuart Little. The company is based in Culver City, Calif.
