Temescal Academy offers an alternative education program for high school students. The school was originally Temescal Canyon Continuation School, then Temescal High School, part of Los Angeles Unified School District. When the district decided to close the school in 2009, Palisades Charter High School took over the school. Alternative programs are available here for students who have fallen behind, need to make up credits, want to accelerate their learning or study independently.
