Specialties
The CARE Project, Inc., also known as TCP was created by Carrie Madrid with the assistance of co-founder, Christina Gonzalez. In 2012, Carrie was diagnosed with Stage III Breast Cancer at the age of 41. As Carrie did research for cancer resources, she quickly realized that there were zero breast cancer specific organizations offering financial support in the Inland Empire. The goal was to fill in the gaps of what other organizations were not doing. Financial Support for copays, rent, utilities, etc. In addition to that, a peer to peer Survivor Social Club vs a traditional support group. TCP also has a fitness room and massage/meditation room so patients can work out, meditate or have massages in a private, safe space just for them!
