In 1975 Beverly Hills doctor Sanford Siegal created the "cookie diet," where dieters supplement their diet with a protein-enriched cookie. In 2007 Dr. Siegal opened a Cookie Diet retail store on nearby North Bedford Street in Beverly Hills. He also created the online store where dieters could purchase his diet supplements. These products are also available at drugstores and nutrition retailers such as GNC and Walgreens. This is the business office and not a retail store. It is open by appointment only.
