History
STAT MED Urgent Care was first opened in Lafayette by Dr. Armando Samaniego in 2013. Dr. Samaniego, a longtime Lafayette resident, has been a hospital emergency room physician and medical director for nearly three decades. He opened STAT MED Urgent Care to address the need for convenient and affordable routine and urgent care in Lamorinda and the surrounding East Bay communities. There are now three locations - Downtown Lafayette, Pleasant Hill / Concord (near Sunvalley Mall) and Livermore (off 580, near Lowes & Safeway). STAT MED Urgent Care clinics serve the following communities: Berkeley, Piedmont, Oakland, Montclair, Orinda, Moraga, Lafayette, Walnut Creek, Pleasant Hill, Martinez, Pacheco, Concord, Alamo, Danville and Livermore. We are participating Providers in most PPO Plans and offer a cash discount for those patients without insurance.
