History
Ellery Conover, the lead instructor, started as a volunteer fire-fighter. Having the ambition to help others, he decided to pursue fire-fighting furthur by attending CDF academies and the EMT program at Cuesta College. Ellery went on to work for the United States Forest Service as a hand-crew fire fighter, fighting fires in Alaska, Montana, Idaho and Arizona. He now teaches CPR and still attends Cuesta College.
