Star Anise Thai, located off First Street, is a modern and contemporary restaurant. Kron 4 news in the 2009 Best of the Bay awards voted Star Anise Thai as the best Thai Restaurant in the East Bay. The décor and overall ambiance of the restaurant is very elegant and chic.

It uses only the best ingredients and serves fresh dishes daily. The staff is very friendly and warm. You'll often find a crowd there and on weekends be prepared to wait.
