Established in 1949, St. Teresa of Avila School is a Christian faith-based community that serves students in kindergarten through grade eight. The school follows the curriculum guidelines of the Department of Catholic Schools. It offers a variety of academic programs in mathematics, language arts, social studies, science, health, music, art, and religion and physical education. St. Teresa of Avila School is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and certified by the Western Catholic Education Association (WCEA). The school also provides remedial reading assistance for children with special needs. It offers counseling programs and crisis intervention services for students, families and staff.
