Founded in 1962 as a parish school, St. Finn Barr Catholic School provides flexible academic programs with emphasis on the development of basic learning and thinking skills. The school offers classes in kindergarten through grade eight. Its academic curriculum includes classes in math, science, social studies and physical education. St. Finn Barr Catholic School also provides education in language arts that include English, reading, spelling, phonics and writing. The school provides integrated programs in music, art and choir. It also organizes field trips to museums, plays, theaters and zoos. St. Finn Barr Catholic School maintains altar service and student government clubs.
