History
St. Columbkille School has been serving the South Los Angeles community since 1923 when the Sisters of Notre Dame de Namur opened the school. Many describe the school as an oasis in the community because of our commitment to providing a safe, nurturing environment. We strongly believe that every child deserves to be taught and inspired to achieve academic success in an environment where God's unending love is the foundation for learning. We strive to challenge students to grow academically, spiritually, emotionally, and physically as is evident in the many programs offered at the school. With the help of dedicated staff, parents, students, alumni, donors, volunteers, and parishioners we are continuing the Columbkille tradition while constantly improving for the benefit of our students. We welcome you to our site! We hope you learn more about our community and join us soon.
