Spectrum Center is a school that offers a wide range of community-based programs to serves students with various developmental disabilities. The center specializes in assisting students suffering from physical mental or behavioral disorders. It serves students with learning, developmental, emotional and physical disabilities, including autism, Down syndrome, pervasive development disorders, cerebral palsy, students in wheelchairs, oppositional and defiance disorders, and multiple disabilities. It serves students of ages 3- to 22-years who represent a wide array of cultures and socio-economic backgrounds. Spectrum Center is certified by the California Department of Education, and operates more than five nonpublic schools throughout California. Spectrum Center has campuses in San Jose, Concord, Oakland, San Pablo, Union City, Fairfield and Pittsburg, Calif.
