History
The Spectacles was founded with the creation of The Lobby, our first and flagship team. Since then we have grown to over 100 performers and numerous shows and concepts. In 2010 Specs created The Improv Cup, which is designed to showcase local talent, foster a community and raise money for The Painted Turtle. The event grows every year and has raised thousands of dollars for an amazing charity. Every year in Spring, we have the Orange County Improv Festival, founded in 2012, where we bring in the best the art form has to offer from around the country and locally.
