Any resident of Sacramento County can drop off their hazardous waste (e.g. paint, bug & weed killer, cleaning products, batteries, fluorescent light bulbs, electronics, etc.) free of charge. Residents of Elk Grove may utilize the Recycle Area to drop off recyclables or green waste that do not fit into their curbside cans. Please note - this facility is not a CRV or buy-back center. We do not purchase recyclable material for scrap value, we can only accept recyclables from Elk Grove residents at no charge to the resident.
