History
The Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA) Monterey County is your nonprofit, independent, donor-supported humane society that has been serving the animals and people of Monterey County since 1905. The SPCA is not a chapter of any other agency, is not funded by tax dollars, and does not have a parent organization. SPCA Dog Training believes in positive reinforcement to help strengthen the bond between people and pets. Every year, skilled, certified SPCA Dog Trainers help over 3,000 families train, enjoy, and have fun with their dogs and puppies. Our training is affordable, high-quality, and fun for the whole family.
