Founded in 2003 by UC-Davis Veterinary School graduates Cara Bradley and Michael Yackey, this facility is based on a philosophy of individualized care. Each new animal's human is interviewed by either Dr. Bradley or Dr. Yackey to determine not only what an immediate problem might be, but also the configuration of the patient's home habitat, past medical history and other information. Only when this is done, in each case, are proper corrective procedures initiated.
Emergency care is offered during office hours. For after-hours care, this clinic recommends the Veterinary Teaching Hospital at UC-Davis. Other services include neutering and spaying, wellness and preventive care, vaccinations, parasite control, microchipping, surgery and dentistry.
