History

A group of local people committed to the arts in Siskiyou County began meeting in 2012 and then opened the museum in the spring of 2013.

Specialties

Siskiyou Arts Museum strives to enrich the lives of artists, residents and visitors to Siskiyou County through exhibition, sale and interpretation of the visual, literary and performing arts by presenting events and programs that will educate, strengthen, serve and sustain our community. We have two art galleries and a gift shop that highlight the arts of local artists primarily in Shasta and Siskiyou County. Every second Saturday of the month we have a new art show opening from 5-7 p.m.

A great show case for local art. The gallery is large and well lit. Gracious friendly folks run the place. Reasonably priced objects for sale. Dunsmuir is a nice town for a browse and a walk.
