History
The Sierra hosted the first dinner train in North America in the 1970s, but it was discontinued when the railroad was sold in 1981. Dinner train service returned to the Sierra in 1999 when a new owner bought the railroad, restored the line and launched the Sierra Railroad Dinner Train on December 30, 1999 - just in time to have some very enjoyable Millenium Trips!
