Sierra College is one of only two community colleges nationally to receive an educational grant from the Osher Lifelong Institute to meet the educational needs of older adults. The Osher Lifelong Institute's mission is to encourage lifelong learning in challenging courses with short modules. Classes are geared for those over the age of 55, but anyone can enroll for the tuition-free, non-credit courses to explore a new interest or to learn or renew a skill. Classes are held in Roseville at Sierra College Gateway Campus on Sunrise Avenue near the intersection with Douglas Boulevard.
