When Steve and Ruthe married in 1989 they opened their doors as owner/operators of Shafer Plumbing Contractors. The company has grown from a mom and pop operation to a full service plumbing company, specializing in problem solving for a wide base of residential, commercial and industrial customers. Their technicians are trained in the same problem solving model for which Shafer Plumbing Contractors has become known over the years: Their number one priority, from residential service calls to large commercial projects, is to discover customers' needs and to solve their plumbing problems.
