I've been doing home improvement services for 35 years, including electrical, plumbing and fine carpentry - mostly on older homes and apartments. I'm used to the problems found in older structures: ELECTRICAL: knob and tube electrical wiring, lack of grounded circuits and overloaded circuits. PLUMBING: ancient supply pipes and 100 year old faucets are no problem. CARPENTRY: crooked door frames, entry door security hardware, malfunctioning door knobs and locks, windows that don't open or lock, etc.
