I became interested in placenta encapsulation after having my daughter. I had saved our placenta in the freezer, but didn't know about encapsulation until at least a month after she was born. I looked online and could not find anyone who offered the service at a rate I could afford..I struggled with depression, and so badly wished I had been able to ingest my placenta, even if it had only helped a little bit. After completing my Doula training in Oct. of 2010, my interest in supporting new moms became my new direction. I wanted to be able to also offer a pricing package that also included sliding scale for low income families.
