Located on the Healdsburg Plaza, Scopa's narrow entrance can be hard to find, but look for the barber shop sign overhead; you can't miss it. The dining room is long and narrow with rows of wooden tables against dark, rough plaster walls. While the lighting is subdued, the atmosphere is sprinkled with gracious good fun mixed with the joy of Italian cooking. Chef Ari Rosea calls his cuisine, Grandma's Italian: delicious food that's good for you. The seating is perfect for couples but the tables are easily arranged for groups. A cozy, romantic bar is in the back and an excellent wine list offered.
