History
Scholastic Interest Group Foundation Inc. came into formal existence on January 1, 2013 with its mission to assist at-risk young men ages 12-18 living in San Francisco's most underserved and economically disadvantaged communities. Initially working with 8 -12 young men, SIG's individual mentoring program, the heart of our organization, has expanded to 15 - 20 young men with other SIG programs reaching at least 40 others.

Scholastic Interest Group Foundation specializes in one on one mentoring of student athletes living in San Francisco's most underserved and economically challenged communities. No other organization provides the personal development component of our mentoring program.
