George and Musia came out to Los Angeles from Philly during the 60's. Hell of a time to live in Venice Beach! They eventually made their way up the coast and set up several locations throughout Ventura County. The Santa Paula shop is where they've decided to settle during their golden years.

Philadelphia style cuisine. I'm talkin' old school 1950's cheesesteaks. Don't expect to find us using cheese whiz. We use fresh Ribeye steak sliced in house along with a white Swiss blend American cheese, and your choice of sauteed veggies (mushrooms, onions, peppers). All topped off with our homemade gravy (marinara sauce). The Hoagie is the classic Italian cold cut. smoked ham, salami & capicola come paired with white american swiss, mozzarella and provalone cheeses. We top it off with tomatoe, lettuce, onions and our homemade dressing. It's topped off with a dash of oregano and you are in Hoagie Heavan. Our cheeseburgers are made from Ribeye steak, ground twice inhouse, to give it just the right texture. All our soups homemade from Grandma's recipe. Average cook time: 3 1/2 to 4 hours. Call for the soup of the day.
