Santa Barbara Pension Consultants, Inc. was incorporated on March 18, 1992. Dave Peckham and Doug Katers are the original and current owners. Prior to 1992, both Dave and Doug worked for 4 years as employees for Certified Pension Consultants, Inc.
Specialties
SBPC is a TPA (third-party administrator) for qualified plans (e.g. profit sharing, 401(k), defined benefit, etc.). We specialize in cutting-edge plan design for small business owners, typically with 1 to 20 employees. We also specialize in defined benefit pension plan administration and strategies to save not only income tax but payroll tax over the life of the plan.
