The San Miguel Consolidated Fire Protection District provides fire protection and emergency services for the communities of Bostonia, Casa de Oro, Crest, La Presa, Rancho San Diego, Spring Valley, and unincorporated areas of El Cajon and La Mesa in San Diego County in California. Founded in 1988, the district employs more than people and maintains a fleet of frontline pumpers, fire engines, cars and various utility vehicles. It installs fire alarm boxes and organizes fire education programs. The San Miguel Consolidated Fire Protection District provides classroom and on-site training that includes tours and pre-fire planning of commercial and residential occupancies for its employees.
