The San Leandro Adult School offers career development courses, continuing education and enrichment classes to community members of all ages. The school is part of the San Leandro Unified School District.
Students can earn a high school diploma or receive specialized training in fields such as nursing and computer technology. The school also offers English as a Second Language and citizenship courses, family literacy, fitness, handicrafts and basic computer classes.
The administrative office is located across the street from San Leandro High School, however classes are held at a variety of locations, including the Community Education Center (1448 Williams Street), churches, community centers and schools.
Fees vary depending on the course, with some offered free of charge. Childcare is available at some sites.
