The San Clemente Branch Library is part of the Orange County Public Library System. The branch offers the typical materials for all ages which patrons can borrow. A bank of computers with internet capability and a digitized index system is available, as well as dozens of periodicals and a reference desk with access to reference books and databases. The library offers preschool story times and other children's and adult programs.
The Friends of the San Clemente Library are a local nonprofit that raises money for the library's programs - the group has a used bookstore that operates in the same building.
