History
Sacramento Animal Hospital was established in the early 1940's when it was built by the Meyers brothers. At the time it served primarily as a large animal practice as most of Sacramento was still farmland. The brothers ran the hospital and established an excellent reputation for quality care over the next 40 years. With nearly 70 years under its belt, Sacramento Animal Hospital is the oldest continually operating veterinary hospital in Sacramento. We continue to thrive maintaining our focus on excellent care for our patients and service for our customers under the ownership of Dr. Karen Mulvihill, Dr. Erin True and Dr. Diana Cortez. In all, S.A.H. has five dedicated veterinarians. We are continually evolving with the demands of ever-changing modern medicine and our patients. It is our mission to continue the 70-year tradition of providing the finest care available to our patients while supporting and educating our clients to be the best owners they can be.
