History
The Russian School of Mathematics opened RSM-Evergreen, a campus of RSM-San Jose, in 2015. We opened in response to the demand for after-school math enrichment for K-12 students in Evergreen and the East and South San Jose areas. RSM is fully accredited by WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges), ensuring that each aspect of our program has been carefully evaluated against state standards. Local schools accept and acknowledge our transcripts.
Specialties
About RSM The Russian School of Mathematics is an award-winning, afterschool math program for K-12 students. We help children of all levels build a solid math foundation and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Our systematic curriculum and approach is based on the best practices of math schools in the former Soviet Union and Europe, adapted to the US educational environment. Our dedicated and trained teachers are distinguished by their extensive background in and passion for mathematics. Online courses are also available for students in locations without a physical branch. Remarkable Results For over two decades, RSM students have consistently posted remarkable scores on standardized tests and in national and international math competitions. But achieving top test scores is just one of the benefits of RSM's program. RSM students also see higher grade point averages in school, more confidence, and a strengthening of problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
