Rotating Precision Mechanisms (RPM) was formed and incorporated in 1975 as a California corporation. Its sister company, Precision Specialties (PSI), was acquired in the fall of 1997. Formerly a separate entity, PSI merged with RPM, sharing the adjoining expanded facility. The combination of the organizations further strengthens RPM in its ability to provide customers a broad range of precision products and accessories in the fields of communications, telemetry, radar, electro-optics, sensors, solar and other related areas. RPM has assembled a team of degreed senior level engineers and production specialists that pool their talents to cover each of the disciplines necessary to produce and deliver the company s systems. RPM has more than 250 years of combined direct mechanical and electrical control engineering experience in rotator, positioner and actuator design. Since its inception, RPM has utilized these talents in the timely delivery of equipment to customers throughout the world. The company is based in Northridge, Calif.
