Dr. R. Wade Crow is a UCI Health ophthalmologist who specializes in neuro-ophthalmology. His clinical practice is focused on a wide array of neuro-ophthalmic conditions, including double vision, the visual complications of intracranial tumors, the vision complications of stroke, myasthenia gravis and vision loss of unknown origin. He earned his medical degree at the Keck School of Medicine at USC, followed by an internship at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance and a residency in ophthalmology at UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. He received fellowship training in neuro-ophthalmology at the University of Utah Health John A. Moran Eye Center in Salt Lake City. His research interests include the use of virtual reality in assessing and treating eye movement disorders, as well as assessing the impact of cataracts on optic nerve disease. He is the author or co-author of numerous peer-reviewed papers. Crow was recently named a Physician of Excellence by the Orange County Medical Association.
