HistoryThe ACCPF was founded by a dedicated group of community volunteers to support parks, recreation and open space. We work closely with, but separate from the City of American Canyon to raise funds for development of parks, to promote citizen participation in programs and to advocate for the importance of parks in our community.SpecialtiesThe American Canyon Community and Parks Foundation (ACCPF) is dedicated to enhancing parks, programs and play in our community. We believe that parks and open space are an important part of a vibrant community and that access to quality recreation services is an essential part of a rich quality of life for our citizens. We believe that all children deserve equitable opportunities for hands-on learning and exposure to environmental education, the arts, and science.
